What is EFT?

EFT is short for Emotional Freedom Technique. Originally derived from the science of Acupuncture, EFT is a ‘needle-free’ alternative to stress relief that gives you the ability to feel more calm and peaceful in minutes.

Our thoughts are very powerful. They can either enhance our health or create illness.

Research in the field of mind/body medicine continues to demonstrate that our thoughts and feelings affect our bodies and our bodies affect our thoughts and feelings. This is because our minds and bodies are always in constant communication with each other.

EFT gives you the ability to change the way that you feel

The beliefs that you have about yourself and the world around you and your place in society comes from the lessons that you learned as you were growing up. As a child learns what they live, you, became a product of your environment. And it’s very natural for you to notice yourself repeating many of your family’s mistakes.  The stories you believe about your health, your body, your relationships with yourself and other people, and the world around you, your thoughts are either creating a greater sense of freedom and joy or misery and pain.

The good news is if you weren’t raised by ideal parents with perfect role models all around you, you are not bound to your past. No matter how negative or limiting your thoughts or beliefs have been, you can choose to release them and reprogram positive beliefs.

By tapping on certain specific parts of your face, hands, head and arms, you can relieve a ton of negative feelings and emotions in your body within minutes.

By activating these comfort spots within your body (which are called meridian points) you can tap into your body’s own ability to heal it self.  Meridians are energy pathways that run through your body.  The acupressure points or meridian points are tapped on in a sequence to clear disruptions of energy in these channels or meridians.

This disruption reflects an imbalance in the body’s energy alignment. Simply put, an imbalance of any kind causes pain - mental, physical and spiritual.  We store traumas and stress and negative feelings in our body.  Have you ever noticed when you are stressed you get a sore neck or tightness in your chest or stomach?  That is an example of how our body and mind are connected.

Some typical examples of these imbalances are: cravings, lack of energy, lagging libido, anger, performance anxiety, depression, low self esteem, feelings of shame, fear, sadness, traumatic memories, grief, unwanted feelings, mental blocks, stiffness, physical ailments, anxiety, etc.

EFT is a useful tool in dealing with changing your relationship with food.  When you eat when you are not hungry it is usually because you are trying to feed another need.  Often emotional eaters eat when they are stressed or have negative emotions that they are trying to stuff or numb.  EFT can be used to deal with the feelings and thoughts that are triggering your need to eat when you are not hungry.  EFT is very helpful in zapping cravings.  It also can be used to change your body image and boost a low self esteem. It is powerful in working to change limiting beliefs and negative self talk.

This natural power and ability is within each of us. Think of it as a quiet little voice of inspiration and reason. In a world filled with noise and chaos, it is so easy to lose sight of the quiet and stillness within. EFT enables you to tune out all of the chaos and anxiety and tune in to a higher source of energy and resonate on a higher frequency attracting more positive energy.

Quantum physics has proven that our bodies are made up of energy particles and that we are all connected by invisible strings of energy. Our thoughts are energetically charged and they resonate vibrations according to our beliefs.

The law of Attraction states that like attracts like.  So if we vibrate at a negative frequency because of negative limiting beliefs we will attract more negativity.  For example if you focus on being fat that is what you attract because that is what you are focusing your attention on.  If you focus all your attention and energy (thoughts are energy) on scarcity, like how broke you are or what you lack that is what you will attract.  If you want to attract abundance you have to change your thinking and vibration to that of abundance. In order to change what we attract we need to clear the negative energy.  EFT enables you to clear the negative energy that keeps us from attracting the life we want.

By clearing the decks of the clutter, and removing unwanted emotions and negative thoughts and limiting beliefs that have held you back in the past. EFT can put you back in the driver's seat, on the fast track to joy and confidence, clarity and passion. Enjoy freedom at your fingertips in minutes. Don’t believe me. Try it for yourself!
