What is EFT?

EFT is short for Emotional Freedom Technique. It is an energy based approach to handling your stress and anxiety in a simple and effective way on your own. By simply tapping on certain parts of your face, hands, head and arms, you can relieve a ton of negative feelings and emotions in your body within minutes.

EFT is based on the premise that: “all negative emotions in the body are caused by a disruption in the energy system”.

This disruption reflects an imbalance in the body’s energy alignment. Simply put, an imbalance of any kind causes pain - mental, physical and spiritual.

Some typical examples of these imbalances are: cravings, lack of energy, lagging libido, anger, performance anxiety, depression, low self esteem, feelings of shame, fear, sadness, traumatic memories, grief, unwanted feelings, mental blocks, stiffness, physical ailments, anxiety, etc.

Originally derived from the science of Acupuncture, EFT is a ‘no needle’ alternative that uses your body’s own natural tendency to self comfort as a means of balancing and realigning your energy. By activating these comfort spots within your body, you can tap into your greatest source of power and healing, the universal wisdom within you.
