Being a hottie– what’s it mean to you? The word “hottie” may conjure up images of wearing Victoria’s Secret lingerie or being a sex kitten, but it’s really not about that. It’s something entirely different. And to answer your question. Yes. It is possible to be a hottie at any size. Join my call this evening and I’ll tell you how.

On Tonight’s Curvy & Confident Coaching Club snippet call you’ll learn my secrets to being a hottie. What’s a hottie, you may ask. Well it doesn’t necessarily have to imply sex, but it helps to be a part of it.
It’s more about feeling sexy. The point is you can’t be a hottie if you’re feeling like life’s victim. Because if you’re walking around thinking of yourself as helpless or not good enough or any other kind of enough there is, then you won’t be able to connect with your body. Your body is your lifeline. Let’s face it–Without it, you’re dead.
For years I thought being a hottie meant that I had to be a certain shape or size. I also thought it meant wearing sexy Victoria’s Secret lingerie and being my husband’s “beck and call” girl.
As a woman with a history of sexual abuse in my past, you can imagine how terrifying those images and expectations were for me, and how impossible it seemed to fulfill them. Because they were all about pleasing someone other than myself, it didn’t feel safe. It felt too much like the old pattern. Because I didn’t feel safe and loved, it wasn’t possible for me to share my love or affection. There was no inspiration or motivation to move beyond the fears that kept me living in victim mode. So I kept doing the same thing over and over, using food to give me the feelings of love and comfort I so desperately craved.
I know how scary it is to change the way that you think about yourself and your body. As uncomfortable as it may be, it’s still comforting knowing that you can run and hide behind your fears, and do the thing that keeps you numb, in my case eat a pint of Ben & Jerry’s mint oreo cookie ice cream. In an odd way although your past may hold you back, you’ll probably admit that it’s also given you a certain amount of a sense of safety.
Tonight we’ll talk about what you need to do to be a hottie and to love yourself through the layers. Here’s a hint: it’s not what you may expect. And I expect by now I’ve piqued your interest, so I’ll see you there.
Much love,
Andrea
