Have you ever wondered why! Well the reasoning behind it is that if you get too hungry, then you will lose your mind and eat whatever is in your way and fall headfirst into a binge.

Not so!

Nothing could be further from the truth.

It’s not your hunger that precipitates a binge, it’s the constant feeling of deprivation that you live with when you following the restrictive rules of a diet.

Your hunger is a natural biological signal that your body has used up its store of energy and needs to refuel the body. Your biological hunger is satisfied for about 5-9 hours after a full meal. Yet don’t you want to reach for something else right after dinner or soon after?

That’s because you are not feeding your biological hunger. That’s emotional hunger and if you seek to fill that with food, you’ll never lose weight, even if you are dieting. I’m sorry to say that you will never get off the diet/binge rollercoaster if you can’t eliminate deprivation from the weight loss equation.
